Obituary For Naomi Massey

Naomi Hood Massey,98, entered into eternal rest on Monday, September 20, 2021. She was born on September 6, 1923, in Lancaster County South Carolina to the late Alfred and Carrie Hood. Naomi was married to the late Iria Massey.

Naomi was educated in the Lancaster County School System. She was a member of White Oak AME Zion Church in Van Wyck, South Carolina. She was the mother of the church.

She leaves to cherish fond memories two daughters, Wistener Thornwell and Jacinta “DeeDee” Imes; two grandchildren; ten great-great grandchildren ; one great-great-great grandchild and one sister-in-law, Dinah Hood.

Funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m. Sunday at White Oak AME Zion Church with burial in the church cemetery. Funeral Service will be conducted by Rev. Dr. Vincent Meekins Jr, and Reverend Jaqueline Long.
