Virginia Dare Spears Dixon,93, of New Bern died Friday, September 24, 2021 at her residence.

Viewing hours are 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Friday and 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM Saturday at Oscar's Mortuary.

Her service is 1:00 PM, Sunday, October 3, 2021 on Oscar's Mortuary Grounds. The interment will follow at New Bern Memorial Cemetery.

She is survived by her children, Carl Dixon, Debra Wright, Wesley Dixon, Julia Dixon-Credle, Julie Dixon Mane, Pasty Cox all of New Bern, Pearlie Sweeper of Kinston and Travis Dixon Jr. of Washington D.C. Thirty-six grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren.

Masks are required and social distancing will be followed. Please bring a chair and water.
