Sharon L. Williams, 63, of Carlisle, entered into Heaven’s Gates on Monday, September 20, 2021 at Manor Care Nursing Home in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. She was born in Carlisle, daughter of the late Louis Clyde Williams and Betty Mae Thompson, received her education in the Harrisburg School District and was a graduate of the former William Penn High School. Sharon worked a variety of jobs in her liftime, but her most fulfilling job was a Certified Nursing Assistant at Chapel Pointe at Carlisle, from where she retired after 15 years of service. In her leisure, she loved playing bingo, playing cards and spending quality time with all her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her brother, Gerald. She leaves to celebrate her life, her daughters, Shakita Bullock and Lateisha Bullock, both of Harrisburg, Pennsylania; her nine brothers and sisters, Consuelo Crowder, Stephen Thompson, Stacey Ortiz, Venino Ortiz, Mark Anthony Ortiz, Dominic Ortiz, Letiticia Ortiz, Maria Evans and Mitchell Ortiz; her three grandchildren; her one great grandchild; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and her loving pet, Cookie Crisp. Sharon’s life will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 28 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Major H. Winfield Funeral Home, 704 N. Front St., Steelton with viewing and visitation from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. and burial in Paxtang Cemetery. Live Streaming of the service will be available on Major H.
