I just now saw that you went to heaven. 🩵 My heart is broken, because you were a radiant force of positivity and the world will never be the same. You were infectious! A delight! Pure joy to be around- a rare soul, cut from the most unusual cloth. There are very few moments in life where you meet someone- just briefly- but that they have such a massive impact for good on your life. —SO much so that you still think of them years and years later. I'll never forgot going to see the Rock- back in his wrestling days with you- and drawing in the coffee shop. And seeing your poem framed in the White House. "Love 'em with a long handled spoon- say hello from across the room!" "Put your faith in God and keep your eyes on everyone else " just a few of the many phrases from Sebastian that echo in my mind. Oh Lord, please hug my friend and tell him exactly how loved he was, and how dearly he will be missed. Show him as only you can the way he impacted all of us who were so blessed and gifted by the pleasure of meeting him. My sadness is juxtaposed with my knowledge of where you are... with our sweet savior Jesus Christ. Honestly, I'm just sad. I know we don't grieve as others do, knowing where our loved ones are, but dang man, this one broke me a little bit. 🩵Love so much love to you and your family.

My words are numb. There are none that can adequately celebrate the life of Frederick Byers. I knew him from high school. He was always warm and charming with that infectious smile. Somehow, that smile made you feel better. We're sad that he is gone. But God must have needed another angel to keep the spirit of life going throughout the world. Look upon this time, as not a death, but Frederick taking another path. May the heavens bless the Byers Family in this time of need. I consider myself privileged to have met Sebastian and to have had quite a few conversations with him. He was always uplifting and encouraging. Seemed he had the ability to help direct you through any situation with words of wisdom and encouragement. He could tell you how to make the best of a bad situation no matter what the circumstances it seemed. He was the closest thing to Jesus I've met walking around on this earth as a simple, humble man who didn't punch a clock and worked for himself and God.2 Godspeed my brother, I look forward to meeting again!
