A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2021, 11:00 a.m. at Northside Missionary Baptist Church, 5706 N. 40th Street Tampa, Florida 33610, Rev. Ricardo Robinson, Pastor with Rev. Leonard Harrington, eulogist. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park. Mattie Jordan-Pinamang {Bumpy} was born on August 26,1950 to the late Deacon Elmore Jordan and Mother Jessie Mae Jordan in Arlington, Georgia. Mattie moved to Tampa, FL and became a graduate of Middleton Senior High School class of 1968. She furthered her studies by attending Business University of Tampa. Ms. Pinamang worked at Honeywell and was an Assistant Librarian at the University of South Florida. She retired from Department of Children and Families- Adult Protective Investigation.

Ms. Pinamang was preceded in death by 3 siblings: 1 brother, Willie Jordan (Bessie lee), 2 sisters, Dorothy Mae Brooks (Rev.Willie), all of Tampa, FL, and Charlie Bell of Orlando, Fl. Mattie hobbies and interest included singing, reading and traveling. She received Christ at an early age. Mattie was a member of Northside M.B Church where she attended faithfully until her health failed. As a member of Northside M.B. Church she served in the choir. She was also a Member of Middleton/Blake Alumni Choir. She was called home to be with her heavenly father on Thursday, September 16,2021. She leaves to cherish her fond memories: 2 daughters Tekita Graham of Tampa, Fl and Claudia Hammadi Qassou of New York; 5 grandchildren: Earl Taylor, Nakhiyah “Susie” Taylor (fiancé Rueben Pena), Annya Grooms and Tyjhana Graham all of Tampa, FL Princess Pinamang of Prairie View, TX, Sabir Qassou and Gamila Qassou of New York. 3 great grandchildren: Ian Taylor, Mia Taylor, and Obito Pena. 1 sister Juanita wright and husband Don of Tampa, Fl 4 nephews: Homer a. Duke, iv of Atlanta, Ga, cliff Duke of Hobbs, NM, Ampty Brooks of Tampa, FL joseph Giles Miami FL 4 nieces: Lenora Moore (Michael), Vickee Jordan of Tampa, FL and Carla Jordan of Atlanta, Ga.1 aunt Joann Jackson of Miami FL 1 god sister Maria Miller of Tampa FL a host of great nephews/nieces and cousins, and friends special friend Georgia Ephord, Mary Burns and Wanda Mund. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 1, 2021 6-8 p.m. at Integrity Funeral Services, 3822 E. 7th Avenue, Tampa 33605. Family and Friends will assemble on Saturday at 10:45 a.m.
