Mr. Eddie Lee Mitchell, W. Calhoun Street, Wadley, GA departed this life Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at the VA Medical Center, Augusta, GA. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 1:30 P.M. at James and Virginia Davis Chapel with Military Honors. Viewing will be held Friday from 3:00 to 7:00 P.M. Mr. Mitchell was a native of Jefferson County, born to the parentage of the late Isaac Mitchell, Sr and Annie Ruth Vining Mitchell. He was a 1967 graduate of Wadley High School and the owner of Club Cabaret. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army. He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings Isaac Mitchell, Norman Mitchell, Robert Mitchell, Alma Jean Moore He leaves to cherish his memories a loving daughter, Morgan A. Mitchell, Sparta, GA; his siblings, Richard (Sonya) Mitchell, Detroit, MI, Donald ( Sarah) Mitchell, Dessie (Willie James) Scott, Ella Mae Tomlin, Wadley, GA, Kimothy (Leatha) Mitchell, Hephzibah, GA, Shirley Evans, Annette (Albert) Barnes, Eunice M. Coney, Riverdale, GA; two Godsons that he reared as his own, Lamonte (Fabrienne) Fluellen, Sparta, GA and LaTrell (Sheketha) Fluellen, Covington, GA; two grandchildren, Shymir Barnes and Mekhi Dixon, Sparta, GA; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
