Obituary For Betty Jean Caradine Muhammad

Betty Jean Caradine Muhammad “Miss Betty” of Blytheville, Arkansas was born February 20, 1953 in Chicago, Illinois to George and Johnnie B. Mitchell Caradine. “Miss Betty” moved to Blytheville in 1990 from Chicago. She was a caregiver to family and friends and was employed by MCAEOC as a cafeteria worker. To know “Miss Betty” was to love her, she had a quick wit and an eclectic style that naturally drew people to her. “Miss Betty was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Marshall Williams, Jr. and one sister, Delores Kersey. On Monday, September 27, 2021 “Miss Betty” transitioned at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, Arkansas at the age of 68. She is survived by one son, Christopher Tyrone Caradine of Blytheville, Arkansas; one daughter Stacie Caradine of Manila, Arkansas; five brothers George Caradine, Jr. Levon Caradine, Sherman Jones, Steve Jones, and Anthony “Tony” Jones all of Chicago, Illinois; three sisters Katie Caradine, Janice Jones, both of Chichago, Illinois; and Avon Caradine of Blytheville, Arkansas; thirteen grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held, Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Frontline Family Outreach Ministries. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 12:00 noon at Frontline Family Outreach Ministries, 120 East Walnut Street, Blytheville, Arkansas where the pastors are Raymond and Mary Golphin. Minister Terrell Rogers will deliver the eulogy. Services will be live streamed through Facebook@ McDonald-Horne Funeral Home.
