Obituary For Mrs. Juanita Gee

Our beloved, Mother Juanita Friday Gee departed this earthly life on Easter Sunday, April 1, 2018 at McLeod Medical Center in Dillon, South Carolina. She was born on October 11, 1925 to the late Gus and Bertha Friday in Chesterfield, South Carolina.

She attended the public schools of Dillon County, South Carolina. In her earlier years, she was employed by Rounds & Sons. Juanita was best known for her sewing, delicious cooking and cake baking (a trait she passed down to her grandson, Anthony). She was also known for being dressed in her Sundays’ best with her many hats, protective nature and her playful but outgoing personality. Her family loved the way she displayed her affection, especially when she joked with the older grandkids and told them “I’ma beat yo butt” or when she attended family functions, she’d say, “gimme some white potato salad.” Juanita was loved by many and the memories of her will be cherished and remembered by all.

Mother Juanita was preceded in death by three children: Bertha Ann Gee, Marion Friday and Clarence Moore.

Cherishing Mother Juanita loving memories ~ her children: Ruth N. Friday, Sheirl M. Breeden both of Dillon, SC, Robert Moore of Atlanta, GA; ten siblings: Gussie (La) Cooper of Fairmont, NC, Billy Cooper of Rock Hill, SC, Rebecca Friday of Brooklyn, NY, Thomas Cooper, Charles (Gail) Cooper, Gene Cooper, Robert Cooper, Francis Davis, Hattie and Faye Sealy all of Dillon, SC; eleven grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, one great, great grandchild, many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

To The Grieving Family of Ms. Juanita Gee.... A message of Solace at The Time of Your Lost of a Loved One………… How Can I Pray and Be Heard by God? WHY THE QUESTION ARISES: People in practically all religions pray. Yet, many feel that their prayers are not answered. WHAT THE BIBLE TEACHES: Jesus taught us to avoid repeating set formulas in our prayers. “When praying,” he said, “do not say the same things over and over again.” (Matthew 6:7) If we want God to listen to our prayers, we must pray in the way that he approves. To do that, we need to learn what God’s will is and then pray accordingly. First John 5:14 explains: “No matter what we ask according to [God’s] will, he hears us.” See also Psalm 65:2; John 14:6, 14; and 1 John 3:22. It is my sincere hope that these words/this knowledge helps to sustain you, your family during your Bereavement… Along with your Bible Go to www.jw.org 'Bible' or 'Publications' to answer any bible topic
