Mr. Willie B. Davis, Jr., affectionately called “B-Shot” was born in Morris, Georgia on November 13, 1951 to Mrs. Vanester Lee Davis and the late Mr. Willie B. Davis, Sr. He answered the Master’s call on April 11, 2018 at the Joann Burgin Nursing Home in Cuthbert, Georgia. “B-Shot” grew up in Morris Station and received his education at Kaigler Training School in Georgetown, Georgia. At an early age, he joined Morris First Baptist Church and later years he joined Trinity Chapel Church. “B-Shot” enjoyed fishing, playing baseball, and working in the yard. He was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph L. Davis, Sr. and a nephew, Marcus L. Ellington. He leaves to cherish his memories a loving Mother, Mrs. Vanester Davis six sisters, Elvira Porter, Mary Jo Turner, Elnora (James) Ellington, Willie Ree Smith, Shirley Thompson and Joyleen Bussey; seven nephews, Dr. Michael (Samantha) Davis, Alford Porter, Eric (Carol) Porter, Edward (Gabriella) Smith, Joseph L. Davis, Jr. James (Angela) Thompson and Jeffery Smith; seven nieces, Angela (Jeffery) Bowen, Asheley Smith, Melissa Bussey, Sharonda Bussey, Erica Bussey, Lisa Davis and Bridget Thomas; fourteen great nephews and twenty-one great nieces and a host of cousins and friends; special nephews and nieces, Dr. Michael Davis and Asheley Smith, Alford Porter and Angela Bowen.
