Orlando Carter was a man who loved life and living. He was a fun, generous, kind-hearted, and helpful person. He would help those who were less fortunate by offering food, transportation, or financial assistance to assist others to get back on their feet during hard times. Orlando’s favorite pastime activities included being in nature, listening to music, dancing, and riding his bicycle. He loved the water whether fishing or swimming. Orlando believed in God. His favorite singer was Jimmy Swaggart and he would listen to his sermons and songs often times throughout the day. Orlando was a beloved father, brother, and son. He loved his family. His presence will forever be missed. His spirit will continue to live on through his family.
He was predeceased by his son Rodney Emerson Carter.
Orlando leaves to cherish his memories two daughters; Dorothy Frasier and Elizabeth Jennings; two sons; Allan Carter and Anthony Carter; son in law; Nathan Y. Frasier; two brothers; Artley Carter and Milward Carter; two sisters; Alice McLaughlin and Eva Carter; brother in law; Wendell McLaughlin; five grandchildren; Sierra Carter, Nathan Frasier Jr., Nakaysha Ivory, Donte Jennings, and Deliya Jennings; one great granddaughter; Ammayah Carter; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other close relatives and friends.
