Obituary For Mrs. Lessie Lee Baker (66) of Valdosta, Georgia

God was walking in His garden, one He made with His own hand. Pausing there He found one ready, He chose her with His own hand. He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest –His Garden must be beautiful he always takes the best.

You’ve left us precious memories your love will be our guide – You live on through your children you’re always by our side. It broke our hearts to lose you but you did not go alone – For part of us went with you on the day God called you home. You will be missed!

It is with deep sadness that the Baker-Bussey Family, grant the staff of Harrington Funeral Home permission to promulgate to all on the passing of their beloved.

Mrs. Lessie Lee Bussey-Baker of Valdosta, Georgia was born on Tuesday, July 26, 1955. After 66 blessed years, God decided to call her home to take her eternal rest on Sunday, October 03, 2021.

Celebration of Life Services will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021 from the sanctuary of Crossing Jordan Baptist Church - 1401 Cypress Street, Valdosta GA at 3:00 PM. Bishop Dr. Albert Bussey will officiate. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.

Due to COVID-19 CDC Social distancing restrictions are still in place, facial coverings are required. (During public viewing as well celebration of life services)

Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers as they process their beloved; mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and child of God’s triumphant transition from the troubles of this world.
