Minister Elizabeth W. Jernigan was born May 23, 1956 to the late Larry and Gladys Williams. Her earthly life ended on October 1, 2021 at home.

One grandchild Ray’Quann Jernigan preceded her in death.

Elizabeth joined Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church where she served faithfully until her health prohibited her.

She was employed at Stewart Apparel. Later she was employed at Minnie G. Boswell hospital as a dietician.

Elizabeth leaves her memories to be forever cherished by her husband of 46 years: Mr. Lennie Jernigan, Jr.; two sons: Shermayne Jernigan and Jonathan Jernigan; three grandchildren: Ke’Yandra Rhodes, Jayden Jernigan and Shermiyah Jernigan. She also leaves one sister, Maddie Alexander, two aunts: Pastor Margaret H. Arnold and Lucille Luke Hull; three brothers-in-law: Robert C. Jernigan (Wynette), Willie J. Jernigan and Charles L. Jernigan Sr. (Lula); and one sister-in-law: Princella Jernigan. Also, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
