She is preceded in death by her two brothers; Archie & Willie Kern; two sisters: Annie Atterberry & Mary Greer. Her granddaughter; Tamia Windom.
She leaves to cherish a special friend; Billy Ray Jackson whom stood by her side until the end
She leaves four daughters: Jeffey Kern, Kayla Windom (Justin), Keshia (Thaddus) Wilson, Ivory Lee(Derriyona); four sons; Tywon, Thomas, Melvin (Allisha) Kern and James (Tallisha) Windom; three sisters; Thelma (Frank), Nana Kern and Velma (Sylvester) Anderson; four brothers; Melvin, Aaron (Donna), Fred (Betty), Eric (Debra) Kern. One sister-in-law, Brenda Kern.
She leaves 18 grandchildren and 1 Goddaughter: Daniesha Williams; she leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Mrs. Bessie was a very nice, sweet and loving person, she was well known and respected by everyone she came in contact with; she would always have a smile on her face and always in a good spirit; she never met a stranger. She loved her family and would go over and beyond for them. Mrs. Bessie will truly be missed...she had a heart of gold!
