Funeral service for Alvin Smith 58 "Toot", will be Sunday, October 3, at 11 am at the Anniston Funeral Service Outreach Ministry in the Russell H. Williams Memorial Chapel with Ray Walton, officiating. Interment will follow in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, Barfield.

Mr. Smith passed away on September 21, 2021 at Regional Medical Center. Mr. Smith graduated 1981 at Englewood High School. He worked at the Anniston Star and Super Value. Survivors include his mother Ether Smith; companion: Angela Haynes; daughter: Ashley Williams; bonus daughters: Desiree and Desunay Haynes; grandchildren: Quaniyah Gunn, Samiah Phillips, Dariyah J. Jernigan; his brother: Ezra C. (Latisha) Smith, Jr., nieces, other relatives and friends.
