Obituary For Jamel Shuler

Jamel Dayshawn Shuler Jr., 24, was born October 30th , 1996 to the parents Tanisha Greenwood and Jamel Dayshawn Shuler Sr. He was born in the Bronx, at Bronx Lebanon Hospital. Affectionately known as "Pookie", Jamel loved spending time with his family, and friends, and making music....."Dropping bars!", as he would say. Jamel went against all odds. He was preparing to enroll at Monroe College in the Spring of 2022, majoring in Business Management. He was determined to have his own business in the future. On September 23, 2021, Jamel unexpectedly lost his life. He is survived by his parents, Tanisha Greenwood and Jamel Shuler Sr; step father Shaheim Wagington; step mother Adia Shuler; his partner Liz; grandmother Cassandra Shuler, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
