PUBLIC VISITATION for Deacon Charlie Byron Ellis was Friday, October 15, 2021, from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Lavender's Funeral Service.

THE HOME GOING CELEBRATION HONORING THE LIFE & LEGACY OF Deacon Charlie Byron Ellis of Aliceville, Alabama was Saturday, October 16, 2021, 11:00 a.m. at Dancy First Baptist Church, 797 Highway 17 South in Aliceville, Alabama. The body of Deacon Ellis was in state in the church one hour prior to the service.

INTERMENT was in Dancy First Baptist Church Cemetery. Reverend Robert W. Jackson, Jr. , Pastor of Dancy First Baptist Church was The Eulogist.

NO SEATING WAS ALLOWED PRIOR TO THE PROCESSION.

FOR THE HEALTH & SAFETY OF EVERYONE, MASK WEARING WAS REQUIRED & SOCIAL DISTANCING WAS OBSERVED.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Mr. Ellis; burying our loved ones is truly a heartbreaking situation to go through. However, I would like to comfort you with a scripture from God's word, found at Revelation 21:4; it reads: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore; the former things have passed away". What is this scripture saying? One day soon, God will do away with all pain, suffering, and death, and we will all be able to enjoy life to the full forever, without the dreaded prospect of dying!
