Algernon E. Burton Jr. "Boot", 66 of Fuquay-Varina, NC passed on October 10, 2021 at the home. His legacy will live on through those he cared for and loved so deeply. He leaves to cherish his memory: his son, Bernard (Rashidah) of Charlotte, North Carolina; daughters, Yvette (Cameron) of Jacksonville, Florida and Caree (Leroy) of Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina; sister, Gwendolyn (Sylvester) of Atlanta, Georgia; late brother, Wayne (Linda) of Garner, North Carolina; ex-wife, Doris (Gilbert) of Fuquay-Varina/Fayetteville, North Carolina; and grandchildren, London, Lennox, Emerson, Roman, Camaree, and Rayden. He loved spending time with a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends; a special cousin/brother, Calvin King; and cousin/sister, Katherine McBennett.

Family will be receiving friends 4:00 -6:00 pm Friday, October 22, 2021 at Trice Funeral Home, 127 N. West Street in Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526., with no more than 10 individuals inside at one time.

Memorial service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, October 23, 2021 at First Baptist Church, 105 N. West Street in Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526

At the family's request, they will not be receiving visitors at the home. Please respect this request. They thank you for your thoughts and prayers.
