Rev. E. Walter Anderson, Jr., 89, of Richmond, died October 11, 2021. He was the former minister of Parrish Hill Baptist Church in Charles City, VA and Mt. Oni Baptist Church in Caroline Co., VA. He was preceded in death by his parents, several siblings and stepson, Rodney Scott. Surviving are his devoted wife, Lois C. Anderson; step grandchildren, Daijah and Shanice; two sisters, Doris A. Stokes and Gwendolyn A. Pitts (Ethan Sr.); three brothers, Reginald N., Herbert M. (Emma) and Lewis H. Anderson; host of devoted nieces and nephews; five sisters-in-laws, Kate Crump, Gloria Williams (Rev. Charles), Gwendolyn Mosby, Grace Crump and Constance Anderson; other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd., where viewing will be held Monday, October 18 from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held 12 noon Tuesday, October 19 at Parrish Hill Baptist Church, 12401 John Tyler Memorial Highway, Charles City, VA.
