Obituary For Eric Witherspoon

Mr. Eric Witherspoon, 58, of Charlotte, North Carolina entered into eternal rest Saturday, October 9, 2021. Mr. Witherspoon was born on September 4, 1963, in New York City. He was the son of Thelma Witherspoon.

Eric was educated in the Charlotte Mecklenburg County School System. He was a 1982 graduate of Myers Park High School. Eric was employed at Popeye’s Louisiana Kitchen. Left to cherish his memories are one daughter, Auzree’ Witherspoon of Charlotte, NC; his mother, Thelma Witherspoon of Van Wyck, SC; four sisters, Josie Leftwich (Adrian) of Frederick, MD, Tiffany Mack (Charles) of Charlotte, NC, Deborah Mobley of Rock Hill, SC and Claudia Polk of Bronx, NY.

Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 16, 2021, at White Oak A.M.E. Zion Church in Van Wyck, SC. Funeral Service will be conducted by the Rev. Dr. Vincent Meekins, Jr. and Reverend Timothy Mobley.

Viewing will be Friday, October 15, 2021, 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Stewart Funeral Home.
