Julius Jerome Ross was born Monday, February 25, 1963, to the late Linda Mae Ross and Albert Ross, Jr. He was also preceded in death by his grandfather, Alvin C. Ross, grandmother, Cloria M. Ross, and his adopted brother, George Ellis. God called his servant Julius Ross home on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at 12:27 p.m. at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist from an acute illness.
Julius Ross graduated from Rockingham County Senior High School, Reidsville, NC. He also studied at Guilford College where he was the SGA President. He served as a volunteer firefighter in Orgon Hill and Eden, North Carolina. Julius was known as “Chubby” to the family and “Ross” in the community. He was gifted in so many areas but known mostly for telling jokes. He was loved by his family, served his community, and enjoyed fishing with friends.
The legacy left to cherish his memories are: His loving wife of the home; Jaqueline Ross (Greensboro, NC), son; Joshual Ross (Sheletha) of Greensboro, NC, daughter; Alexis Ross of Greensboro, NC, three brothers; Thomas Lee Ross II (Carla) of Chicago, Il, nephew; Tommy (Little Tommy) Ross, Aaron Ross of Winston Salem, NC, niece; Aaliyah Mae Dillard, sister; Shandrell (Rico) Hazard of Lake in the Hill, Il, nephew Victor Adeoye, mother and father-in-law; Anna and John Meador’s of Wentworth, NC, sister and brother-in-law; Sharron and Ron Elliott of Greensboro, NC, nephews; Jordan and Ryan Elliott, brother-in-law; John Meador, Jr. (Reidsville, NC), Anthony (Melanie) Meador’s of Greensboro, NC, nephew; Jaron Meador, niece; Jalan Meadors, Ty Meadors, Jhanya Meador, Jurnee Meadors, Jahbria Meadors, Jaydhon Meadors and a host of other relatives and friends.
