Jewel C. Butler was born April 22, 1933 to the late Pinnie Clark of Anson County. She went home for her rest October 13, 2021 at Hospice of Richmond County with her family by her side.

She was united in Holy Matrimony to Minister Clayton Butler who preceded her in death.

She later joined Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Ansonville, NC and was a dedicated member where she was presented a plaque of Servitude Of The Body Of Christ. She continued attendance until her health failed.

She retired from I.G.A. as a cook, where people from all over the county enjoyed her soul food. Her favorite hobbies were fishing with her son, gardening, cooking and spending time with her family.
