Obituary For Simon Matthews

The relatives and friends of the late Deacon Simon Matthews are all invited to attend his Celebration of Life Service, 11:00 AM, Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at House of God Miracle Temple, 8137 Clyburn Rd, Hollywood, SC 29449. Pastor: Bishop Walter Oree and Co-Pastor Violet Oree. The viewing for Deacon Matthews will be held Tuesday, October 19, 2021, from 3pm until 7 pm at Walker's Mortuary Chapel. He leaves a lifetime of memories to be cherished by his beloved wife, Francina Matthews, his daughters, Barbara Singleton (Nathaniel), Won Oriee, grandchildren, siblings, a host of nieces and nephews, cousins. To my family, it is hard to believe that uncle Simon is gone. He was such a wonderful and humble man. I can remember like it was yesterday when we were young kids playing in Moffett and he had over a hundred pigeons. He will truly be missed. We will keep the memories of him in our hearts always.
