My dear brother Junie, I love you, you were always there when I needed you no matter what. When I needed you most you were on the first flight from Seattle to hold my hand. You will be missed your Baby Sis Karla

Curtis, you will be truly missed brother. I've known you for more than 20 years and always appreciated your kindness and honesty. We never got a chance to really hang out like we had planned once you moved here to Florida. At least we did have some good times when we saw you. I will keep those times close, remember, and cherish it. Rest in Peace brother-Wayne

What a wonderful person to have had the pleasure of growing up together through middle and high schools. Curtis was so much fun!!! Then, to witness his amazing maturation as an adult and be blessed by his ministry have just been refreshing and inspiring. To his wife and loving family and friends, may we find great comfort in our cherished memories of such a beautiful soul and impactful man of God.

Oh Junie! Where do I begin? You were the 1st one. The sibling we always had! There is no 'before' you. I cannot fathom an 'after' you. I keep wanting to call you, so we could cry together, as we often did during our crises. I know what you'd say: There's a lesson in this baby girl. We just have to pay attention. But I've never experienced a crisis we haven't walked through, or an achievement we reached that we didn't celebrate together. I can't fathom that that's over. I'm so lost and scared of doing life without you. That's just the truth. There were 6 in our sibling pack & each of us had our own someone. You were mine & I was yours. My eldest brother who used to seem so much older back then. You always loved me just as I am. No filter required. Your love was unconditional. You loved me on purpose. Thank you. This loss is unimaginable and you are irreplaceable. I told you often. Oh I pray you believed that. As children, you took such good care of us. Telling us your "Fat Boy Jimmie" Stories, that your brilliant mind would create spontaneously. Playing the student endlessly because I loved playing the mean teacher. And pretending to see the imaginary 'King and kingdom' I insisted was real. How patient & long suffering you always were. Thank you. Even when you moved out & away you wanted the 5 of us with you nearly every weekend. And we loved it. We loved you. Your children & grandchildren are walking blessings ... through them I see & hear you. I will honor your unyielding love for them by doing my best to be available to & for them. Oh my Junie! Thank you. Thank you for all the real talk, the pep talks, the hand holding, each warm hug, watching you dance, is singing off key, and oh your wonderful sense of humor. I'll miss you every minute of each of my days. You'll never be a was. Never! Your name will be spoken daily. Your favorite color blue, I have now adopted. And I will watch, for you, every second of any Dallas Cowboys game go forward. Promise. You made life so much better. I pray I did for you as well. Until you and I reunite, rest my dearest brother. I will love and miss you. Your lil sis Debbie Renée
