Funisechua Tometrius Raven was born on February 28, 1966 in Atlanta, Georgia to Mary Raven and the late Mr. Earnest Washington. Funisechua was affectionately known by her family and friends as “Nee Nee”. Funisechua attended Cook Elementary School and King Middle School. Funisechua was a proud and active Alumni of George Washington Carver High School, where she was also a member of the Drill Team. She Graduated in 1984. Soon after graduating, she started working at McDonald’s and Kessler’s. Years later she found a career at South Eastern Automotive Warehouse (S.A.W), where she worked for 20+ years. Although she enjoyed her time at S.A.W, she later departed and joined the Walmart (Wally World) family in 2006. Funisechua was a devoted mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. She enjoyed cooking; her most popular dishes were Macaroni & Cheese and Sweet Dressing. She also enjoyed family gatherings and “Step” Dances. Her dream was to one day own a Food Truck. To know Nee Nee was to love her. She was loved by so many people and had a heart of gold. Funisechua was proceeded in death by Father, Earnest Washington and her Brother, Victor Raven and leaves to cherish her memory: her Mother, Mary Raven; two Daughters, Nekisha Fears and Adriania Slaughter; two Brothers, Earnest Raven and Reginald Raven (NeKia); One God-sister, Michelle Robinson; six Grandchildren, LeTrayvion Fears, Kanarah Heard, Figh’Shun Fears, Nevaeh Fears, Jaleah Rucker, and Harmoni Fears; two Great-Grand Children, Journi Fears, and her main Man, Legacy Heard (Paw Paw); One niece, LaShestrius Raven; one Nephew, Reginald Raven, Jr; along with a host of Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, extended Family and Friends.
