Ricky E. Evans was born February 10, 1945, to the late Clyde and Doris Walden Evans. He transitioned from labor to rest, suddenly, on Friday, October 22, 2021 at his home.

In May of 1973, he married Helen Evans. Together, they raised six children.

Ricky was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Ricky E. Evans, Jr. (Tink), four brothers, Clyde Lee Evans, Thomas R. Evans, James Dennis Evans and Harold Michael Evans. He leaves to cherish his memories his devoted wife of 48 years, Helen, three daughters, Teresa Davis of the home, Kelli Wilhelm (Wayne) of Willow Springs, NC, Annette Evans of Apex, NC, two sons, Eric Evans (Brenda) of Franklinton, NC, Rodney Evans (Tameka) of Angier, NC, one “bonus son” J. Antwaun Bailey (Sonya), twenty-three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, four sisters-in-law, two brothers-in law, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Visitation: 4:00 - 6:00 pm Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at Trice Funeral Home Chapel, 127 N. West Street in Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526., with no more than 10 individuals inside at one time.

Funeral will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 2520 Richardson Road in Apex, NC 27502, (Rev. Dr. Lafayette Maxwell, Pastor).

Mask are required in order to attend the visitation or funeral service.
