Obituary

Rosula Brown, the daughter of the late Lena Mae Bradshaw, was born December 7, 1929.

Rosula attended Lincoln Brown School in Meigs, GA. She was a hard worker until she decided to become a stay-at-home mom to her seven children and a cluster of grandchildren.

Rosula was called home to be with the Lord on October 13, 2021, at Archibold Memorial Hospital. She was the oldest of three girls and was preceded in death by her husband Hiram Brown, her mother Lena M. Bradshaw, her oldest son Willie McNeil, Sr. and her two sisters Hazel West and Doris Jenkins.

Her memory will be forever honored and cherished by her loving children, Verna Paul (Ohaka) Tallahassee FL, Wanda Copland (Billy Joe) Meigs, GA, Cherelene McNeil, Barwick GA, Charles McNeil (Jemmie), Coolidge GA, Brenda McNeil (Jarvis) and Tracy Brown of Meigs, GA. Rosula leaves to cherish fourteen grandchildren, Reggie, James, Hubert, Victor, Arlene, Willie Jr., Donald, Ronald, Greg, Shanita, Geary, Yashida, Keyan and Kersey; 35 great grands and 20 great great grands. She was loved by a host of relatives and friends, a special caregiver and friend Amy Vicks and Yashida Hagins the granddaughter who loved taking care of her granny.

A celebration of life will be Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 11AM at Meigs Sunset Cemetery with Rev. Willie McNeil, Jr., officiating.
