Obituary For Ms. Peggy Louise Johnson

Ms. Peggy Louise Johnson went home to her Heavenly reward on Sunday October 24th 2021. She was born to the late Reverend Daniel Lee Johnson and Annie Bell Teal Johnson on April 8th 1952. She gave her life to Christ at an early age. She was a faithful member of New Life Christian Faith Ministries until her health declined in 2012.

She graduated from Bowman High School in 1970 and worked at Glenn Manufacturing.

Later in life she returned to the halls of Academia, obtaining two Associates Degrees in Criminal Justice and Early Childhood Education from South Piedmont Community College. She then went to work for Anson Children Center before entering the Anson County School System, spending her remaining years in the workforce as a Special Education Assistant at Wadesboro Primary School.

To know Peggy was to love her. She would do anything for anybody that she could. She raised many of her nieces and nephews while caring for her mama until her health declined. Her greatest joy after the decline of her health was spending time with her grandkids and traveling to new places. While she may be missed here on earth, we take comfort in knowing that she is resting in God’s care.

She is survived by her only Biological child, Boris (Kayesha) Nivens of Ansonville NC ; three grandchildren, Zaylen L'Rone, Zahria Breanne, and Zakharee Jasir of Ansonville NC. A Special Nephew/son, Jeffery Hamilton, Her special companion, Henry Gainey of Morven, NC.

What words are appropriate to express the loss of a cousin, love one, and life long friend. A journey that we started together....a journey that will never end. Though we oftentimes traveled different paths that caused us to be physically apart, But the memories of growing up together are permanently etched in our hearts. These memories that I speak of can never be erased, Even though you are not here physically, I know you've traveled to a much better place. God's great kingdom has a new angel....this much I know; So I won't say goodbye....I'll just wait and say "Hello." Jay Clayton Johnson and Family
