Thank you all for the kind words and shared memories of my great grandmother, Leslie. And still on March 1, 2022, she is still very much remembered and missed. We, the family often talk about her still and to our children. Love, Adrienne Gibson Christopher of Rome, GA. BTW...Purple was her favorite color!

Mama Leslie was such an important part of our family for many years. She taught me at a very young age how to fry chicken, make gravy, make the best Salsibury steaks using ground deer meat, biscuits, on & on. She was truly a friend, not just the hired help for the Daugherty family for about 50 years. My mother, Nancy, never was able to cook collards like Mama Leslie. She lived and good, long life, and left us all beautiful memories. Love and prayers to the family, Donna
