Carswell, II, Pastor, Officiating. Interment, Washington Memorial Gardens, Decatur, GA. A beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, and great-great-great grandmother, who was a very funny, telling soul, and a devoted member of The Covenant Church. Mother Cates is survived by daughter, Delores Ealey; and son, Nathaniel (Janie Bell) Cates. The family will recieve friends Thursday, October 28, 2021, 12:00 NOON until 7:00 P.M. at the mortuary.
