Obituary For Deaconess Roberta Tucker Wilcox

Roberta Tucker Wilcox,life came to an end on Friday, October 22, 2021 at the age of 92 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Roberta was born on February 28, 1929 in Nashville, Davidson County to parents of Susie Williamson and Elgin Tucker. She leaves to cherish her memories, her sister, Ruby Hines of Detroit, MI; brother, John W. Tucker of Harrisburg, PA; 15 nieces, devoted niece, Margaret Juanita Warfield; 4 nephews, numerous great nieces, nephews ; special friend, Juanita Ladd and cousins; God-given children, Raymond and Gwen Patton, Sheila Clark, Rosa Woods, James and Fawn Ellison, Jarrett and Arinetta Utley; God given sister, Stella Sotherland and children and grandchildren.

Mrs. Wilcox will lie in state on Thursday, October 28, 2021 from 11 a.m. until 1p.m. at Westwood Baptist Church University Center, 2510 Albion Street, Nashville, TN 37208. Family present from 1until 2 with funeral service to began at 2p.m. Reverend Barton Elliot Harris Senior Pastor officiating.

Interment 10 a.m. Friday, October 29, 2021 at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, Pegram Tennessee.

Ms Roberta was my favorite patient at Interfaith Dental Clinic. She was a favorite of the whole clinic. He always brought love and warmed our hearts.
