Calvin Dean Moore, age 61, transitioned on Sunday, October 24, 2021 at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, North Carolina. He was born on May 28, 1960 to the late Martha Jane Moore and Jake Crocker.

Calvin was a loving father, son, brother, uncle and friend. All he would do is talk junk and be himself. He loved his family and his family loved him. Calvin was a hard worker, anything you needed fixed, he would fix. He would do your yard with no problem. Most of all, Calvin “Daddy” was a hard worker and loving, outgoing silly but most of all, he was another person that can eat but never gain a pound.

He was preceded in death by his siblings: Jerry, David, Betty and Susie Wilson.

Left behind to carry his legacy is his daughter: Latoya Clark of Gastonia, NC; fiance’: Deanna Minnis; brother: Charles Burris (Iris) of Gastonia, NC; sisters: Lucille Fowler of Gastonia, NC and Rosie Moore of Mt. Holly, NC; grandchildren: DuQuasha Clark, Felton Clark, Dehamma Wilson and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral: Saturday; October 30, 2021; 12:30 at the funeral home with visitation at !2 noon
