Joey Obrious Wilson, age 46, of Athens, GA passed October 28, 2021.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, 11AM, at Waggoners Grove Baptist Church with interment in Athens Memory Garden. Viewing, Tuesday, 2-6 PM at the funeral home.

Survivors include: his daughter, Tiara B. Wilson; mother, Angelish Wilson; father Joe B. (Carolyn) Thurman; sisters, Felicia (Shamar) Johnson, Brenda Thurman and Jannie Thurman; Grandmother, Elizabeth A. Wilson and a host of aunts, uncles and other family members. Joey, was such a fun person to be around. His jokes kept me laughing and kept my on the ready. His smile and smooth swagger could not be matched.
