Sitting here thinking of my ol buddy, you taught me some masonary, of course I was younger lol. But I remember when I was starting car haul, I said I gonna make a box to hold my cb & stereo, you had a look like , I have some walnut wood. ( that's when you lived on claus road, we went in that tiny garage and went to work I still remember you dove tail the corners. I said wow that's awesome. . Then I remember when I was in the area in Tennessee, I give you a call ya came up pick me up & you'd show me around telling about that crooked road you lived on it was the way the cows traveled lol. You will be missed ol buddy.

Al Williams—When I think of you my mind envisions a Heart with the widths and depths of the Grand Canyon. You reached out and touched my life when I was at my lowest point and helped me regain my footing. You also allowed me the great honor and privilege of baptizing you in the Vermilion River signifying your acceptance of Christ into your heart. Al I know you are now a part of the cloud of witnesses cheering us on from the balconies of Heaven and in the same way you were an inspiration to many on this earth, I must believe that now in your new mansion you are praying that all your loved ones on this earth will accept Jesus into their hearts and live the abundant life that God has for them on this earth. Oh and thank you Al for showing me how to really enjoy this life and have fun! Your good friend and brother in Christ, Dan Shea

My dear, sweet, larger-than-life Father-in-law! I can't believe you are gone! For the past 34 years, you always greeted me by saying, "How's my favorite daughter-in-law?" Whether in person or over the phone the banter always went like this: Al: "How's my favorite daughter-in-law?" Greta: I'm your only daughter-in-law! I will remember this fondly! I was reflecting on the many ways you took part in the things that were of an interest to me. My friend and I decided to sell scrapbook supplies at craft shows and on consignment in a local store. You asked to see some of the displays in our catalogues and you made us a beautiful display that almost looked like a house with a picket fence. Then, I wanted to find some corn hole boards. Not only did you make me my own set of corn hole, but you made me extra corn hole games for my mom and my friend. Your generosity would put most to shame. You had a heart for those less fortunate. I can recall that one of my earliest memories of you was during a family gathering when Melinda was talking about someone she knew that was down and out and didn't know how they were going to feed their family. You immediately pulled out your wallet and gave her money, instructing her to make sure her friend got some groceries. I will never forget the several months you lived with Danny and I. It never failed that when I would come downstairs in the morning to go to work, if you weren't on a train, you could be found sitting at the table. During the winter months, you always were outside removing the ice and snow from my car while I was getting ready for work. When I would leave for work, you would be sitting at the table with some coffee and never say a word about your thoughtfulness. I was always surprised to go outside and find my car warm and ready go. One time, following a heavy snow, I even caught you in the act-- broom in hand! I have never forgotten this and the many kindnesses you shared with me and those you encountered. I truly hope you know how much you mattered to so many people and how much you are loved. The world feels a little off its axis without you! With love, always, Your favorite daughter-in-law Greta Williams
