Lawrence was a successful entrepreneur. Everyone knew he was a self-starter and took an interest in opening businesses. He was the owner of multiple businesses, opening “Jimmy Wings” in 2018. One of Lawrence’s greatest accomplishments that he often expressed was having his family. He was a family man, and he loved his family. Family was everything to him. He was the life of the party. He always wanted to have a good time and could turn a bad situation into a positive one. Through his charisma and full of life personality, he met a lot of people during his life. Lawrence was a devoted father, son, grandfather, uncle, nephew and friend. Lawrence was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Corrine Williams and Mildred Wadlington.
Mr. Lawrence F. Williams, Jr. leaves to cherish, honor and protect his memory; his mother, Doretha Wadlington; his father, Lawrence Franklin Sr.; his daughter, Tierrany Yarbrough; his son, Lawrence Malik Williams; three siblings, Shaneka Ward, Antadre Wadlington and Luca Williams; one grandson, Tyler Herron; a special family, Adrienne Green, Zaryia Green, Octavious Sanders and Ja’Miracle Polk; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. He will be sorely missed.
The family will receive friends Friday, November 5, 2021 from 6:30pm-8:00pm at RS Lewis 374 Vance Ave. Funeral service will be held Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 11:00am Mt. Nebo Baptist Church 555 Vance Ave Interment will be following the service at Memorial Park Poplar
