Edna Gillette Taylor,87, of New Bern died Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

Viewing hours are 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM Thursday at Oscar's Mortuary.

Funeral service is 11:00 AM, Friday, November 19, 2021 at New Bern Memorial Cemetery. Interment will follow the service.

She is survived by her daughter, Edna M. Taylor, New Bern; son Willie Jarman, New Bern; brother, Edward Gillette, New Bern ; sister, Evelyn Gillette, Upper Marlboro, MD; seven grandchildren, including DeShawn Anthony Taylor, New Bern.

Masks are required and social distancing followed.
