Mr. E. C. "Dan" Floyd was born March 10, 1950. He was the second oldest of eight children of the late S. L. and Nora Ree Floyd.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Cynthia McCorvey.

E. C. Floyd leaves to cherich his memories to five loving children, Julian Demetrice Richardson of Moss Point, MS, Dana Natasha Richardson (Eric Smith) of Ocean Springs, MS, Michelle Richardson Payne (Brandon Payne) of Gautier, MS, Daniel Woodrow Floyd of Moss Point, MS and Garetth Floyd of Las Vegas, Nevada; six grandchildren, Jaylin Richardson, Celeste Payne, Christopher Edwards, Caylen Edwards, Judear Thomas and Jakyle Thomas; loving siblings, sisters, Dorothy Martin, Francine Donald, Brenda Dunaway (Arnold Dunaway) and Gail Floyd; brothers, S. L. Floyd and Jonathan floyd, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 14, 2018 in Millender's Funeral Chapel, 4412 Main Street, Moss Point, MS.
