Kenneth E. Jenkins

Kenneth E. Jenkins passed away on November 2, 2021 at Indian River Medical Center.

Kenneth El Pasco Jenkins was born to the late Everlena Morris(Zack Morris) and the late Pasco Jenkins in Port Mayaca, FL on October 13, 1947.

Kenneth received his primary education from Lincoln Park Academy in Fort Pierce, FL and graduated with honors in the Class of 1965.

Kenneth received a higher secondary education from Indian River Community College with a degree in Accounting. As a young child, he began studying the bible with Jehovah’s Witnesses and was baptized at the age of 12 in 1960.

Later he met and married Loudelle David on October 18, 1969 and for 52 years they faithfully served together in various Kingdom Halls of Jehovah Witnesses and congregations included Wellington and North Vero Beach, nut Lincoln Park congregation in Fort Pierce was home.

Professional career included working with the Saint Lucie County School System, Gulf Life Insurance, Protective INS, Jenkins Bailbonds in West Palm Beach, and later Treasure Coast Transportation.

Kenneth enjoyed serving in the ministry of Jehovah, Star Trek, listening to music, and traveling with his family.

Kenneth was a very loving husband, father, uncle, and friend. He leaves to cherish a devoted wife, Loudelle Jenkins of Vero Beach; daughter, Kenyka Jenkins of Vero Beach; sibling, Gladys Patrick of Port St. Lucie; nephew, James Earl Johnson, Jr.; niece, Josephine White of Port St. Lucie; great niece, Latisha Cook; great nephews, Earl Johnson III, Joseph Bradley Johnson, and Nehemiah Johnson; proud guardian of Zenard Smith, Zavannah Smith, Zarianna Johnson, and Z’naria Carn; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Public visitation for Kenneth E. Jackson will take place on Friday, November 12, 2021 from 3:00pm-7:00pm at Stone Brothers Funeral Chapel in Vero Beach, FL. Funeral services will convene on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Stone Brothers Funeral Chapel in Vero Beach, FL beginning at 3:00pm.
