Obituary For Martha Highsmith

Mrs. Martha Mae Stover Williams Anderson Highsmith, 88, departed this life on Monday, November 8, 2021. She was born in Liberty Hill, South Carolina on May 8, 1933, to the late Mary Stover.

Martha was educated in the Lancaster County School System. Martha was a member of Cedar Rock Baptist Church.

Martha leaves to cherish fond memories four daughters, Hattie Mae Eason (Charles) and Betty J. Williams of Waldorf, MD, Diane Anderson of Washington, DC, and Mary Anderson-Faison (Kenneth) of Garysburg, NC; one son, Roosevelt Anderson, Jr. (Maryellen) of Charlotte, NC; two step daughters, Jacqueline Williams (Aaron) of Randallstown, MD and Barbara Roberts of Baltimore, MD; one sister, Lula Mae Brown of Health Springs, SC; fourteen grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren and nine step-grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 13, 2021, at Stewart Funeral Home with burial in the Cedar Rock Baptist Church Cemetery. Funeral Services will be conducted by Reverend Jerusha Gaither.

Viewing will be 3:00-6:00 p.m. Friday, November 12, 2021, at Stewart Funeral Home.
