During her early years, Annie Laura was employed by Thomaston Mills, where she worked for over 20 years until their closure. She later gained employment at Riverside Nursing Home in the Dietary department. She was a dedicated worker for over 15 years. She enjoyed working with her colleagues and serving the patients. During her leisure time, she enjoyed singing, spending time with her children and grandchildren, and participating in family gatherings with her sisters and brothers.
