Curtis D. Harris "Vonn", 37 of Cary, NC passed on November 10, 2021 at Duke Hospital in Durham, NC. Vonn leaves to cherish his memories: his wife; Jennaira Harris, son; Damion Lucas, three daughters; Keymya Watlington, Dynasty McBryde and D’ Asia McBryde, granddaughter; Serenity Watlington, five brothers; Jamie Harris,Terrill Owens, Curtis Whitaker, Andrew Arimendez and Steven Dennis, three sisters; Tinika Smith, Curtisse Brown, and Curisa Johnson, mother; Tonia Harris (Dewayne) of Angier, NC.,father; Curtis Johnson (Brigetta) of Raleigh, NC. Mother-in-law; Rennie McBride (Dennis) of Coats, NC., grandmother; Mary Cameron of Raleigh, NC, Great-great aunt; Lois Stephens of Glenarden, Md.,brother-n-law, Chris Ross, one goddaughter; Deandra Harris, a host of aunts,uncles,nephews,nieces, cousins and friends.

Visitation: 12:00 - 1:00 pm Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Macedonia Apostolic Church in Raleigh, NC 27603.

Funeral will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Macedonia Apostolic Church, 9805 Fanny Brown Road in Raleigh, NC 27603

Burial: Starlight Memorial Gardens, Lois Lane in Holly Springs, NC 27540

Thank you for never being ashamed to call me your friend, even when my life was in disarray. You always made sure you were present in my life and when I tried to hide and ignore everyone those days when I was depressed, you would just show up and force me to talk to you. When I felt like giving up or I had nobody in my corner, you knew exactly what to say to give me hope again. It still doesn't seem real that you have transitioned over into eternal rest. I am so thankful that you were able to see the pictures I sent you of my newborn daughter, "your niece" as you called her, literally hours before you passed. I am beyond certain that nobody will ever come close to understanding me the way you did, for that reason I will forever cherish my time with you, and I know you will continue to watch over me and my children from high up above. It's so hard not to question God's decisions or want to be angry at how unfair life can seem. I am praying for your entire family, in hopes everyone finds peace and comfort in the months ahead.
