Obituary For Garey Presley

Visitation services for Mr. Garey Presley will be held on Thursday evening, November 18, 2021 from 6:00-8:00pm at the Elizabeth’s Chapel of Alfonso Dawson Mortuary at 3000 Martin Luther King, Jr Dr. Atlanta, GA 30311.

The services will be live streamed on the funeral home’s Facebook page.

Mr. Presley will he interred at the Georgia National Cemetery on November 23, 2021 at 11:00am at 1080 Scott Hudgens Dr. Canton, GA 30114.

Due to COVID-19, masks and social distancing is required on the funeral home premises.

The family is requesting in lieu of flowers, please send donations to the St. Jude Children Research Hospital.

Garey has been a very dear friend since 1983 tiĺl last Friday morning. Him and i were to be married this week.may we all see you again.love your future wife.

Garey was my stepfather and I'll always remember him when he came home with his uniform on and I didn't see him anymore until early 2000's. He's been living with my brother Ernest until he could no longer care for him. He will be truly missed. Tam

Garey and I served in the Army at the same time during the 1960s and it was a pleasure having him come to visit me while we were both stationed in Germany at different military installations. I remember fondly his humorous and entertaining talk then and as always throughout his life. I will miss my younger brother very much.
