Willa Bertha operated a clothing store, The Dress Corner in Osceola, Arkansas. She will be remembered for having a giving spirit, warmhearted smile, her generosity, and faith in God.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Emmett Speed, Earnest Speed and L.C. Speed. Willa Bertha closed her eyes to this life and gained her heavenly crown in the comfort of her home on November 15, 2021.
Willa Bertha leaves to cherish her love, devotion, and memories her husband of 58 years, Elder Albert Veasley, Jr, of the home, her children Rodney, Benard, Albert III, Candrea, Raneshia, Ericka, Benard, Jr, Syenda, Alyssa, Brianna, Tina; two brothers Leonard Speed, and James Speed; one sister Lula Mae Speed; a sister-in-law, Diane Speed, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Living Word Cathedral Church of God In Christ, 603 North Semmes Street, Osceola, Arkansas.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am at Living Word Cathedral Church of God in Christ, 603 North Semmes Street, Osceola, Arkansas where Elder A.L. Thomas is the pastor. Elder Albert Veasley, Jr. will deliver the eulogy with burial to follow at Whiteside Gardens Cemetery in Osceola.
