He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Charlyn Ann Echols, one son, Emmon Echols (Rosie); four daughters, Genika Echols, Tina Echols, Tiffany Echols, and Charmel Pruitt; one brother, Lenorris T. Echols (Johnnie); five sisters, Rose Doyle (Pastor Shelby), Rita Wagner (Milton), Patricia Richard, Sharon Jackson (Derrick), and Janet Echols; 12 grandchildren, one great-grandson, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
The family has scheduled a public viewing for Wednesday November 17, from 4 pm until 6 pm at R. S. Lewis and Sons Funeral Home 2944 Walnut Grove Rd.
Emmon service of celebration will be held at Soul Winners Church, 882 E Trigg Ave where he served faithfully as the first deacon of the church.
Internment will follow in New Memorial Gardens 3900 Sewanee Rd.
