Michael L. June was born on February 24, 1960 to the union of Moses, Sr. and Nevada Kendrick June in Clover, SC. Michael June transitioned from this life on Sunday, November 14, 2021.

Michael, affectionately known as "City Wolf," by his friends worked in the construction industry as a framer's assistant. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed gardening, and had a special love for dogs.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings: Laura Woods, Moses "Frank" June, Jr., Susan Phillips, James R. June, John Robert June, Roy Benjamin June, and Jerry R. June.

He leaves to cherish his memories to his children: sons: Marcus McKinney, Jomonyatta Reid, and Dekovan Roseboro all of Gastonia, NC; daughters: Nefertari Sheppard of Gastonia, NC and Jaboah June of Charlotte, NC; brothers: Robert C. June of Baltimore, MD and Arthur McKnight of Gastonia, NC; sisters: Juanita Burris, Teresa J. Holmes (Willie), and Georgia Mae June all of Gastonia, NC; grandson, Zymirr Tate, special friend of 15 years, Trudi Watson, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Viewing at the funeral home on Saturday; November 20, 2021 from 10 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. with memorial service at 2:30 p.m.
