Obituary For Dennis McGill

Dennis Curtis McGill was born in Cleveland County, North Carolina on August 31, 1962 to Helen McGill Williams and the late John Lee Wells. He transitioned to be the Lord on Thursday; November 18, 2021 at Clear Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Mint Hill, North Carolina.

Dennis was educated in the Cleveland County School system and graduated from Kings Mountain High School in Kings Mountain, North Carolina. He participated in basketball and football while in school. Dennis attended modeling school located in Charlotte, North Carolina. He worked as a concrete corner and worked at WIX for twelve years. He loved watching basketball. Dennis will be missed by his family and anyone that knew him.

He was preceded in death by his father: John Lee Wells, a son: Dennis Parrish McGill and his grandmothers: Mattie Carroll and Geneva Wells.

Precious memories will forever be cherished by his mother: Helen McGill Williams, a son: Christopher McGill; a daughter: Dennisha Edwards; a brother: Allen Williams and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service on Saturday; November 27, 2021 at Bynum Chapel AME Zion Church, Kings Mountain at 1:00 p.m.

Visitation: one hour before the service at the church

Interment: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain; Monday; November 29, 2021 at 11:00 a.m.
