Funeral service will be at 3:00 p.m. EST, Saturday, November 27, 2021 in the C.T. Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Gene Lindsey, officiating. Interment will follow in West End Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, November 26, 2021 from 2-5 p.m. EST.
Ms. Sharon Denise "Shell" Lindsey was born September 30, 1961 in Russell County, AL to the late John A. Lindsey and the late Elma L. Lindsey.
Shows a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Sharon loved helping others and was willing to help in anyway she could. She was a 1979 graduate of Central High School, Phenix City, AL. She joined Enterprise Baptist Church, Phenix City, AL at an early age and was a life long resident of Phenix City, AL.
She was a faithful and devoted employee of Alatrade Food Processing Center of Phenix City, AL. She was a Production Worker and worked for many years until forced to retire because of her health.
Ms. Lindsey departed this life on Friday, November 19, 2021 at Piedmont Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Willie Parker and Joseph Lindsey; two sisters, Bettye Pearson and Henrietta Dixon; nephew, Daven Lindsey and great niece, Zoey Newton.
She leaves to cherish her memory, a devoted and loving daughter, Marcella Lindsey, Phenix City, AL; special granddaughter, Brianna Brooks, Phenix City, AL; four brothers, James Lindsey, Louisville, KY, John A. (Deborah) Lindsey, Jr., Atlanta, GA, Rev. Gene ( Evonne) Lindsey, Phenix City, AL and David Lindsey, Phenix City, AL; two sisters, Johnnie M. Smith, Phenix City, AL and Lillie M. (Ronald) Payne, Atlanta, GA; one brother-in law, Woodrow Pearson, Hartford, CT; a loving and devoted friend, Donald Grier; a special devoted niece, Cheryl Smith; a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
