MRS. DRENA ELIZABETH SPINK LANIER - Age 76, of Calhoun, GA passed away Sunday, November 21, 2021 surrounded by her loving children. She was born on November 11, 1945 in Dalton, Georgia to the late Syble Elizabeth Tate Spink and William Whitehead Spink. She was employed by the Gordon County School System and Providence Ministries. She devoted her life to helping others. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, friend, educator, and counselor. Mrs. Lanier was of the Christian Faith.

Survivors are her loving and devoted children, daughters, Tate Groves (Matt Groves), Lyric Lanier (Jessica McKenzie), Chancy Lanier (Ryan Jacke), son Ben (Lindsay Lanier); grandchildren, Traver, Treyson, and Tyner Groves, Grady and Grace Lanier; sister, Sarah Fallin(Thomas Herman); brother, Bill Spink (Ann Spink); cousin Joy Camp: as well as treasured nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

At her request, she will be cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor at the Harris Arts Center at 212 S Wall Street in Calhoun, Georgia on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at 4:00 P. M. The family will receive friends one hour before the service. Arrangements by Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.
