Ms. Deborah Ann Hoke

On November 18, 2021, the Lord our God called his child home to Glory. Deborah Ann Hoke completed her journey on this side of Glory and took her rest to reunite with loved ones who have gone on before her. Deborah was born December 14, 1952 to James Cornelius Duff and Levada Hoke Hannibal in Gaston County.

Deborah was educated by Gaston County School. She was a graduate of Holbrook High School, Lowell, North Carolina. Deborah had a variety of positions within the textile and manufacturing industries. She was a member of Greater Mt. Hebron Baptist Church where she was a member of the Missionary and Gospel Choir. Deborah was a Prayer Warrior and Intercessor. In her leisure, she enjoyed being around water, traveling, shopping, finding a good deal, assisting her daughter with events, and most importantly, spending time with family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; James Cornelius Duff and Levada Hoke Hannibal, her sister; Ann Duff Carter, and her brother; Wilson Hannibal, Jr.

Fond memories of Deborah are left in the heart of those who loved her most: her son, Quintin Hoke, daughter; Nikki Black (Dwayne), sisters; Barbara Brannon (Larry), Darlene Coore (Colin), brothers; Taft Duff) Cynthia), Richard Hannibal, six grandchildren, several aunts and uncles, a host of nieces nephews, extended family and friends.
