Obituary For Ms. Darline Kay Black

On February 27, 1968, in Panama City, Florida, Darline Kay Black received the precious gift of life. She was the daughter of the late Alonzo Daniel Black, Sr. and Daisy Mae Comer Black. She entered into the arms of her Lord and Savior on November 18, 2021 in Pensacola, Florida.

She accepted Christ into her life and attended Love Center under the leadership of Dr. Rufus Wood. Darline attended the public schools of Bay County. After graduation, she worked as a teacher’s aide for the Bay County School System until her health failed.

She leaves a lifetime of loved and treasured memories with: one son, Devonte Carroll of Springfield, Florida; four grandchildren; two sisters, Evangelist Debra McClain of Panama City, Florida and Bonnie Hoffan of California; six brothers, Alonzo Daniel Black, Jr. (Loretta) of Washington, DC, Lonnie Black, Lee Black, Dan Black (Alice), Darrell Black all of Panama City, Florida and Larry Black (Donna) of California; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A homegoing celebration will be held Sunday, November 28th at 2:00p.m. at Hillside Cemetery with Evangelist Debra McClain officiating. Interment will follow with arrangements entrusted to the Caring Staff at Battle Mortuary of Panama City.
