Obituary For Mr. Leroy Weaver Jr.

Mr. Leroy Weaver, Jr was born on December 12, 1969, to the late Mrs. Evelyn Louise McGill Weaver and the late Mr. Leroy Weaver, Sr. in Thomaston, Upson County, Georgia. At an early age, he joined the Mount Olive Baptist Church. He was educated in the Upson County School System and attended Upson High School.

When Leroy reached young adulthood, he was employed by McCrary Landscaping. During his leisure time, he enjoyed fishing; cooking, especially grilling, working on cars; watching court shows; making people laugh and always trying to have a good time. He enjoyed being around his family and friends.

Leroy was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Rufus Dixon, Walter Lee Dixon, and Michael Owens. On Friday, November 19, 2021, the Lord called his name. He answered the call and his spirit went home to eternal rest.

Leroy leaves to cherish his memory two sisters, Ms. Mattie Weaver of Molena, GA and Ms. Yolanda Owens of Thomaston, GA; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Joyce Dennis Dixon of Griffin, GA and Mrs. Addie Dixon of Molena, GA ; a devoted nephew, Mr. Chris Hutcherson of Hampton, GA; a devoted friend, Mr. Clarence “CC of Thomaston, GA.

Funeral Service were held Saturday, November 27, 2021 1:00 P.M. George E. Trice , Jr Memorial Chapel Interment Springfield Cemetery
